The Accra International Conference Center, AICC says the confusion surrounding the use of the place to premiere Tiger Eye P. I’s investigative piece ‘Galamsey Economy’ has been resolved.
Consequently, the event is expected to come off as scheduled for tomorrow, Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th November.
Tiger Eye P. I, Africa’s leading investigative firm, led by Anas Aremeyaw Anas had in a statement said it had been stopped from screening its latest undercover investigative piece at the AICC.
According to Tiger Eye, the Management of AICC informed it through their agent on Saturday, 12th November 2022, that the venue is no longer available for use on the said dates. It said Tiger Eye had already fulfilled every requirement of AICC to use the place including payment for the venue despite the last-minute extra change of about thirty per cent.
However, in a rejoinder issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, management of the AICC, explained that the initial confusion was due to scheduling conflict at the level of the AICC staff and not in any way a political decision as being speculated.
