
The Deputy Chief of Staff, Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, has publicly apologised following an incident in which he pushed a military officer during a ceremony at the Ghana Military Academy on January 30, 2026.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Dogbe explained that the incident occurred after the officer repeatedly interfered with the work of a live camera operator covering the event.
“This is to apologise to my friend, Cpl. Ofosu, for physically pushing him away after his repeated disruption of a live camera operator during today’s ceremony,” he stated.
Apology to Officer and Security Personnel
Dogbe expressed optimism that the apology would be accepted by the officer involved, as well as other members of the security services present at the event.
“I know he and my other friends in uniform will accept my apology as we continue to strengthen and improve our existing collaboration at public events,” he added.
Incident Captured on Video
The incident reportedly occurred when Corporal Ofosu disrupted a live broadcast while a camera operator was covering the ceremony. The Deputy Chief of Staff’s reaction, which involved pushing the officer aside, was captured on video.
