AKIM ODA : FRANSTECH STUDENT RETURNS A MISSING PURSE FILLED WITH MONEY AND OTHER BELONGINGS
Master Akorli, a first year student of our St. Francis Senior High School, Akim Oda who is offering Technical (Specifically Technical 2-1T2) and also a member of Father Beemsterboar House, returned a missing purse which contained an amount of Four Thousand,Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (₵4,300.00), two mobile phones and a power bank to the Assistant Headmaster Domestic.
Assistant Head Domestic-Mr. David Jasper Boateng duly handed over to the owner. Akorli has exhibited honesty which is one of the core values the school.
Mr. Joseph Kodjo Nomo-The Headmaster honored Master Akorli this morning with 10 exercise books, 10 note books, a calculator and 5 novels.
The Assistant Head Academic- Mr. Vincent Mensah Gbekor and The Housemaster-Mr Adjetey Okine also him an undisclosed amount of money. The owner of the purse also gave him a cash reward.This unprecedented behaviour exhibited by Master Akorli has depicted that his parents have really inculcated good moral values in him.
Moreover, the saying that ‘let the school pass through you’ has been explained vividly by this young man as he has put to practice the core values of this noble institution.Master Akorli is the last born of seven to Madam Charity Ndetsi ( Trader who sells porridge) and Mr. Alfred Akorli ( a peasant farmer) at New Edubiase.
He is also a member of The Apostolic Church Ghana. The PTA of the school are in the process of rewarding him. ‘I suggest that the PTA will offer him full scholarship which will motivate others to portray such a wonderful behavior’
