Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, is among those expressing interest in securing a ministerial role in the incoming administration, set to take office on January 7, 2025.
With just four days left until Ghanaians head to the polls for the December 7, 2024, general elections, some individuals are already lobbying for appointments in the next government.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM, Lil Win revealed his aspiration to be appointed as the Minister of Festivals. Despite not being aligned with any political party, he expressed confidence in his suitability for the role.
“Next year, I’ll be the one performing at all the festivals in Ghana, so I want to be appointed as the Minister of Festivals in 2025,” he stated.
Lil Win added, “I’m just waiting to see which government emerges victorious after the December 7 elections so I can secure that position.”
With humor, he concluded, “Whether it’s Cheddar, Mahama, or Bawumia who wins, they should do the needful and appoint me as the Minister for Afahye.”
