The CEO of National Youth Authority has spoken about the National Apprentice program for which registration is ongoing.

The National Apprenticeship programmes’ goal is to provide the youth with hands-on training and skills, equipping them for entrepreneurship and a brighter future.

The National Apprenticeship program, which is said to be 30 percent of the training is based on classroom training and 70 percent has been practical by H. E John Dramani Mahama, was introduced to equip the Ghanaian Citizen.

The CEO of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, has described the programme as being the greatest social intervention in Ghana’s history, transforming lives and tackling youth unemployment.

The CEO of the National Apprenticeship program, Osman Ayariya, said, “Persons with disabilities gain automatic selection for the National Apprenticeship programme”.

The National Apprenticeship is going to help groom and make Ghanaian citizens ready to work on their own and not to rely solely on the government for employment, which will help reduce the unemployment rate in the country.
