The victims met their untimely deaths while on their way to church on Sunday, October 20, 2024, around 5:30 in the evening.
Winneba Municipal Fire Service Commander D.O.2 Adu Poku reported that the driver of a Toyota Vitz with registration number GW 907-24, who also happens to be the fiancé of the bride to be, identified as Gina, veered off road into a ditch after a collision with an O.A. Express Toyota Hiace passenger bus when he attempted overtaking a tricycle.
The fiancé is believed to have suffered severe injuries, as both his legs are broken.
Gina was preparing for her upcoming nuptials with her fiancé till her demise.
