The people in Ghana have expressed their disdain following the revelation by well-known Kumawood actor Yaw Dabo of his dissatisfaction with TV program presenter and business entrepreneur Deloris Frimpong Manso, often known as Delay.
Dabo said that Delay had rejected his request for sponsorship, which sparked the issue.
Yaw Dabo provided his version of the tale in a recent interview with Zionfelix, stating that he had approached Delay to ask for help for his football club.
In particular, he suggested that his crew wear T-shirts with her firm emblem on them to show off her sponsorship as a significant sponsor and asked for ten boxes of Delay’s spaghetti.
Dabo, however, voiced his disappointment that Delay had supposedly flatly rejected his suggestion.
He said that Delay clarified that her company solely sponsors Onua Showtime and TV3, the two only shows in Ghana that her brand promotes.
She went on to defend her choice by claiming that there would be no financial gain for her company from supporting Dabo’s football team.
Yaw Dabo was very wounded to learn of this rejection since he had a strong kinship with Delay.
The actor acknowledged his sentiments of betrayal and emphasized that he never anticipated receiving such a response from a buddy.
