In regards to substance abuse among Ghanaian creatives, comedian Clemento Suarez has voiced concerns.
He brought up this issue while stressing how smoking is a bad habit that negatively impacts young people’s lives.
uarez expressed his opinions on social media, writing, “My greatest wish is that Ghanaian artists would give up smoking.”
In the meantime, it is noted that a large number of young artists in Ghana smoke frequently and are frequently dependent on cannabis or cigarettes.
Uncertainty surrounding the underlying causes of the high rates of alcohol abuse and smoking among Ghana’s creative class continues to be a concern.
