In a thoughtful and compassionate gesture, renowned Ghanaian singer Juliet Kwakye, famous for her exceptional talent on the popular music show Singathon, visited the Osenase Orphanage Home to feed and educate the children on mental health. This visit aimed to promote mental well-being, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence among the young residents.

On 6th September,2024 Juliet Kwakye arrived at the orphanage, armed with food, educational materials, and a deep understanding of mental health issues. Her presence was met with excitement and curiosity from the children, who eagerly gathered around her.

During her interactive session, Juliet Kwakye delved into the importance of mental health, explaining concepts such as self-care, stress management, and emotional regulation. She emphasized that mental health is just as vital as physical health and encouraged the children to express their feelings and emotions freely.

“Mental health is often stigmatized in our society, especially among children,” Juliet Kwakye noted. “I want these young ones to know that their emotions matter, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.”
