After his close friend and Black Stars teammate Kamaldeen Sulemana joined Italian powerhouse Atalanta Bergamo during the summer transfer window, Mohammed Kudus expressed his happiness.
After leaving the demoted English team Southampton, Sulemana signed a long-term contract with Atalanta on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
Kudus responded to the transfer right away on social media, writing, “The marathon continues, Kamaldeen Sulemana.”
The two, who have been best friends since their time at the Right to Dream Academy, love using the phrase.
Tottenham Hotspurs, the Europa League winners, are keeping a close eye on Kudus, who is also anticipated to depart West Ham United during the current transfer window.
According to reports, the Ghanaian player is negotiating with the London team as West Ham United seek to profit from their valuable asset. After relocating to England in August 2023, the 24-year-old has become one of West Ham United’s top players.
In his first season, Kudus scored 20 goals in all competitions, but he struggled in his second season.
But because of his attributes, he has become a transfer target for a number of English clubs.
