Ghanaian star Kudus Mohammed joins Tottenham Hotspur in a record-breaking £55m deal from West Ham, becoming the most expensive Ghanaian footballer in history. He signs a six-year contract after two impressive seasons with the Hammers.

Kudus Mohammed, a Ghanaian international, bid West Ham United farewell for the last time after joining Tottenham this summer.

The 24-year-old midfielder signed a six-year contract with Spurs after completing a £55 million move from West Ham United on Thursday.

But after an incredible two-year stint with West Ham United, the Black Stars midfielder has resorted to social media to thank the team.

“Pleasure to be a hammer running life’s Marathon.

Thank you for the warm seat through it all. Best wishes for the season & the future,” he wrote on Instagram.

The former Ajax star has surpassed Thomas Partey to become the most expensive Ghanaian player in history.

The gifted athlete chose to sign with Tottenham, who will play in the Champions League the following season, even though many other teams were interested in him.

It is anticipated that Kudus’ signing will give Thomas Franks’ team more flare and firepower as they prepare to compete both locally and in Europe the following season.

During his two-year tenure, the Ghanaian international made 80 appearances for the Hammers in a variety of competitions, contributing 13 assists and 19 goals.
