Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, was invited to the set of Onua Showtime, hosted by actress Nana Ama McBrown, over the weekend where he was asked questions pertaining to his life post football.
It was on here he divulged that he regretted womanizing especially when he was in his prime. He added that it didn’t help him.
He also touched on the topic of the All Regional Games which he spearheaded. He stated that as a former tennis and boxing promoter the All Regional Games is simply his way of giving back to the sports world, with a focus that extends beyond football. He further called for the support of Ghanaians and Corporate Ghana, stressing that the games was for all of us, and that jobs had been provided through this incentive.
He also disclosed that he was NPP’s youth manifesto chairman.
Gyan noted that former president Kuffuor’s words of encouragement following his 2010 penalty miss strengthened him.
