A section of the public is calling for the arrest of social media activist, Ralph Saint Williams, following his alleged assault on a nurse at the Ridge Regional Hospital in Accra on August 18, 2025.
Videos of the incident, which led to at least one nurse sustaining injuries, including the CCTV footage from the hospital, have been released.
The CCTV footage showed Ralph, a member of the #FixtheCountry Movement, taking visuals of some of the hospital’s health workers attending to patients.

At one point, the social media activist is seen confronting one of the nurses who expressed her displeasure with his actions.
He threw his hand at the nurse, which caused her to lose her balance and nearly fall on a patient sitting in a wheelchair.
He could also be seen walking off as he vigorously wagged his finger in the face of the nurse he nearly hit.
Another video, which appears to have been taken by Ralph, showed a commotion at the hospital.
Majority condemns assault on health workers at Ridge Hospital
Ralph and a number of people could be seen in the video fuming over perceived laxity of the staff of the hospital in attending to some accident victims who had been rushed in.
He could be seen directing the people he came with, to enter the ward where the accident victims had been
taken, so that the doctors could take care of them.
He, however, kept fuming over the supposed laxity in addressing the emergency by the nurses. He could be heard threatening to harm them if something happened to the patients they (Ralph and others) brought in.
“… If anything happens to any of these guys, we are going to visit every doctor and nurse at their homes,” he warned.
