Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has issued a stark warning against the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), urging Ghanaians to remain loyal to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to avoid disaster.
In a recent statement, Prince David Osei emphasized that the NDC’s policies could lead the country down a precarious path, making a strong case for continued support for the ruling party.
The actor called on Ghanaians to cast their votes in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections.
Speaking passionately at the NPP manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, Mr. Osei emphasized the importance of continuity and progress, especially in the face of current global economic challenges.
“A vote for the NPP is a vote for posterity,” Mr. Osei declared, acknowledging the tough times Ghanaians are enduring. He was quick to point out, however, that these economic difficulties are not unique to Ghana. “It’s a global challenge,” he remarked, citing similar struggles in the UK, the US, Canada, and neighboring Nigeria.
Mr. Osei further warned against choosing alternatives that he believes could lead to disaster for the nation. “The alternative is not the solution.
The alternative will send us into an abyss of disaster,” he cautioned, underscoring his belief that the NPP remains the only party capable of steering the country towards prosperity.
He concluded his address with a strong endorsement of the NPP’s leadership, urging Ghanaians to support the party’s candidates.
“Vote for progress. Vote Bawumia. Vote Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the incoming president,” Mr. Osei urged, rallying support for the party’s vision for the future of Ghana.
