Ghanaian sprinter, Benjamin Azamati has qualified for the finals of the men’s 100m race in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham

The 24-year-old made it with a time of 10.18s as he came behind Netheneel Mitchel-Blake and Welshman, Jeremiah Azu

He picked up one of the two non-automatic qualifying spots in a race that was well challenged by all the sprinters.

He will be competing with the likes of Ferdinand Omanyala, Netheneel Mitchel-Blake and Welshman, Jeremiah Azu as well as South Africa’s Akani Simbine in the finals.
