Athletics- Exciting times for African Sprinters (100m)
African sprinters are getting noticed this early season. At the end of April they occupy the first 3 spots on the 100m World lists with sub-10 marks. Ghana’s Benjamin Azamati and Joseph Amoah clocked 9.90 and 9.94 in the USA, while Ferdinand Omanyala of Kenya achieved 9.98 in South Africa. Five more African representatives have already run sub 10.10.
