Akim Oda MP, Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah on Tuesday toured examination centres in the Birim Central Municipality, where this year’s WAEC Basic Education Certificate Examination is been held for JHS 3 final year candidates.
Addressing the candidates, the MP wished the candidates Good luck in their examinations. He advised them to abide by all examination rules and regulations throughout the examination period.
Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah who was happy to meet the candidates before their morning papers informed them of the surprise package he has for the Overall best candidate that excels in this year’s examination.
He added that this is their first external examination and it happens to be the beginning of their academic ladder so they should be bold and write in confidence to be able to enjoy the Free SHS of HE Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP Government.
In all, 1500 candidates from 38 schools both private and public sat at 4 different centres in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination in the Birim Central Municipal Assembly.
