GES Boss donates to Birim South District Education Directorate on his Birthday

 

The Director-General of Ghana Education Service, Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwa on Wednesday donated text books and other learning materials worth 50,000 Ghana cedis to schools in the Birim South District as part of activities to celebrate his birthday.

 

Apart from the books, Prof also donated a cash price of 30,000 Ghana cedis to the District Education Directorate as a seed fund to support teachers.

He also pledged to give 10% of his salary every month to support the needy in the District.

 

The gesture, according Prof, was aimed at supporting the government to provide quality Education to residents of Birim South where he comes from.
