As opposed to the celebration of many Africans following the decision by GRAMMY RECORDING ACADEMY to decentralise the prestigious Grammy Awards to the African continent, King Paluta, the new artist of the year, says it’s bound to lose its value.
According to him, there is always some level of prominence to it if you are said to have won a Grammy but since it’s just going to be organised in Africa, it won’t be valued again. He added that anything brought to Africa always tend to lose its worth.
NB; GRAMMY has expanded its brand to cover the African continent where Africans can also host their own Grammys just like the LATIN GRAMMYS.
Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Rwanda are the founding member countries and are eligible to host the event…
