Reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) “Gospel Artiste of the Year,” Piesie Esther, has disclosed she had no intention of overshadowing her colleague singer, Joyce Blessing’s new song, “Victory” with her latest song, ‘Mo’.

According to her, it is just a coincidence that both of them have songs released just around the time. She stated that they are all doing the work of God, adding that she doesn’t see this as a competition.

The gospel singer’s comment comes after she faced social media backlash for releasing her song ‘Mo’ shortly after Joyce Blessing’s ‘Victory’ was gaining momentum in the media.

Speaking as a guest with Nana Ama Mcbrown on Onua TV’s Onua Showtym With Mcbrown on Sunday, October 1, 2023, the ‘Way3 Me Yiye’ hitmaker said,

“We are sisters doing the same work in the name of the lord. We shouldn’t allow anyone bring any confusion between us. Trust me, I had no Intention of overshadowing Joyce Blessing’s ‘Victory’ song with the release of my new song.”
