Mortuary workers also deserve good salary – Sarkodie

In response to the announcement by the Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana (MOWAG) regarding their intention to embark on a nationwide strike starting November 29, 2023, Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has expressed his understanding and concern.

Sarkodie, in a tweet replying to Ameyaw Debrah’s report on the strike, emphasized the challenges faced by mortuary workers, describing their job as one of the most underrated and underpaid yet among the hardest and riskiest. He highlighted the importance of addressing their grievances, advocating for fair salaries, proper equipment, and a conducive working environment.
