The appointment of Madam Victoria Adu as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Birim Central has been revoked by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo in accordance with Article 243 (3) (b) of the Constitution and Section 20 (3) (b) of the Local Governance Act 2016 (Act 936), according to a letter dated Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development.
The Ministry expressed gratitude to Madam Victoria Adu on behalf of the president for her service to the state.
In September 2019, Ms. Victoria Adu was officially appointed as MCE for Birim Central in the Eastern region.
She was the headmistress at Akyem Oda’s El-Shadai Junior High School and the Women’s Organiser for the NPP in before to her appointment.
