Photos: Tears Flow As Burnt Police Officer, wife and Baby Laid to Rest

It was a moment of sorrow, tears and sadness for the hundreds of mourners who gathered at the Adomfe funeral grounds in the Asante Akyem South District of the Ashanti Region for the Burial of Sergeant Owusu Asante Baafi.

General Sergeant Owusu Asante Baafi, a former Police Officer with the Anti Robbery Unit of the Ashanti Regional Police Command was burnt to death together with his wife, Mrs Millicent Akyaa Agyei and their four months old baby, Samuel Kwabena Baafi Nyamedo on 13th January 2023 in a fire outbreak at Apromase in the Ejisu Municipality.

The trio were buried on Saturday 28th January 2023 at their final funeral rites at their hometown, Adomfe.

The funeral rites was attended by the leadership of the Ghana Police Service led by COP Kofi Boakye.

It was also attended by Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA), District Chief Executive Officer of the Asante Akyem South, Alexander Frimpong, the Clergy, families, friends and sympathizers.
