Singer Davido has been confirmed to perform at the closing ceremony of the ongoing FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Hong Kong billionaire Stephen Hung has revealed that famous Nigerian musician Davido will perform at the closing ceremony which will be held on 18 December 2022.

This latest development will come as a cheerful news for many Nigerians and fans of the music icon in many parts of the world as they will have the chance to see him again.

Davido, who had stayed away from social media while grieving the death of his son Ifeanyi, who drowned in a swimming pool in his mansion on Banana Island, made his first public appearance last month when he was sighted at his Uncle Ademola Adeleke’s inauguration ceremony as Governor of Osun state.

The singer had already cancelled all of his upcoming shows due to the tragic death of his son, which hurt not only him and Chioma but also loved ones and admirers terribly

In anticipation of his performance, Chinese businessman Stephen Hung took to Instagram to reveal how the singer had already been confirmed to perform at the World Cup despite failing to do so on the event’s opening day.
