Dr. Louisa Ansong-Satekla, wife of award winning Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has been announced by World Dental Federation as global ambassador for this year’s World Oral Health Day (WOHD).
Her new role is a continuation of her partnership with The FDI World Dental Federation to improve oral health literacy globally. Started in 2007 and marked annually on March 20, the campaign strives to equip people with the requisite information, resources, and self-assurance they need to maintain good oral health.
Additionally, it aims to inspire individuals to take action and for schools and youth organisations to provide oral health education programmes.
