Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have announced that they are expecting their first child.
The couple shared the good news via their respective Instagram page on Friday, October, 27, 2023.
They made the announcement in the music video for Chinwo’s new single, “You Do This One.” In the clip, Chinwo is seen cradling her baby bump and singing about the blessings that God has bestowed upon her.
This remarkable track, which was also produced by pastor Blessed, serves as a celebration of both the profound joys of motherhood and the abundant blessings bestowed by the divine.
Chinwo and Uzochikwa got married in August 2022. The couple has been open about their desire to have children, and they have shared their excitement about this new chapter in their lives on social media.
