Charles Taylor, a veteran of the Ghana Premier League, has said that Hearts of Oak striker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is superior to Felix Afena Gyan.
He claims that the only reason Afena Gyan is seen as a superior player than Afriyie Barnieh, who plays in the local league, is because of the league in which each player competes.
Charles Taylor declared on Angel TV, ” Afriyie Barnieh is better than Afena Gyan. Only because of his European appearances does Afena Gyan get a rating.
With 10 goals in 29 games, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was a key cog in Hearts of Oak’s run to the FA Cup title last year.
On the other side, Afena Gyan won the first Europa Conference League with AS Roma and scored 8 goals in 28 games.
As a reminder, Felix Afena Ohene-Gyan is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serie A club Cremonese and the Ghana national team.
